The Caribbean Islands, well-known travel destinations for tourists, retirees and honeymooners, are an archipelago that cover 1,000,000 square miles and located between the South and North America. There are more than 7,000 islands including reefs and islets.

The total regional population is estimated to be more than 38 million and composed of people from different ethnic background – from explorers, sailors, pirates, French, Spanish, Chinese, Africans and other European countries.

People love the islands because of the tropical climate and good weather all the year round. For them, the place is paradise because of the many relaxing activities that they can do and sights that are just amazing. They enjoy the white sand beaches and adventurous outdoor activities like scuba diving, sailing and even swimming with the dolphins.

Aside from being the best honeymoon destinations, the Caribbean Islands are also famous for social festivals which truly reflect their rich culture and diversity. They also have carnivals  consisting of series of colorful events that  are based on religion, tradition and culture.

The popular islands in the Caribbean region are Bermuda, The Bahamas, Jamaica, Barbados and Cayman Islands.
