The Mobile World Congress was recently held in Barcelona, Spain.  About 70,000 people  participated in the event.

Some unique and valuable innovations in digital technology have been displayed during the Congress.

It was observed that most electronic manufacturers are now focusing on the enhancement of their products like changing the size and adding more features that the users need.

Here are some of the digital gadgets that were featured in the Congress.

1. GPS-enabled walking stick for elderly or people with walking disability. Designed in Japan by Fujitsu, the stick features sensors to monitor health conditions like heart rate. It has bluetooth and wireless connectivity which are are also essential for emergency-related situations.

2. YotaPhone is a two-faced smartphone. The front is the touchscreen which runs Google’s Android while the back is a second screen allowing you to display other applications like Facebook, clock and other RSS feeds.

3. Sensirion micro temperature sensor. The mobile phones with this sensor device will allow you to know the weather conditions within your area by measuring humidity and temperature. This feature is also a useful tool in sports and healthcare.

4. Glove-friendly touch screens -  With this feature, you can operate your mobile phone wearing your gloves or mitten..
